Venice Marco Polo Airport is situated 6 miles north of the city. Buses, taxicabs and boats are available for the journey in to Venice. A one-way ticket for the bus is €3 and the taxi cabs charge €40. Bars & Nightlife

Venice is not a city for those looking to dance the night away in ecstasy. There are many good bars, primarily in the Dorsoduro district, but there’s no “party scene”.
